Christina Grimes, Partner, New York

Specializing in healthcare planning, programming and client facilitation, Christina is a firmwide leader of NBBJ's global healthcare practice, translating complex clinical and operational needs into transformative healing environments. A trusted advisor to C-suite executives, she leads planning efforts for distinguished systems including Montefiore, Memorial Sloan Kettering, the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and New York City's Hospital for Special Surgery—delivering environments that support patients, empower clinicians and advance the future of care.

Christina Yates, Principal, Seattle

A strategic, future-focused interior design leader, Christina guides one of NBBJ's largest healthcare design studios, bringing empathy and precision to every project. Her work addresses specific populations including pediatric, tribal, veteran and underserved patients. Through deep listening to clients—such as Providence Swedish Medical Center, UCSD, Southcentral Foundation, Southeast Alaska Regional Health, Seattle Children's, Loma Linda and Neighborcare Health—she creates uplifting interiors reflecting the unique needs of every patient, clinician and caregiver.

Yuri Suzuki, Principal, Los Angeles

With more than 20 years of experience, Yuri leads complex, multi-stakeholder projects while navigating clients through risk mitigation, cost certainty, schedule clarity and diverse regulatory environments. A LEED accredited architect, she brings deep expertise in scoping, phasing and delivery for clients such as Warner Bros., Intel, Samsung, UCSD, Kiroy and Tishman Speyer. Her leadership of the UCSD Viterbi Family Vision Research Center drove $3M in cost savings, providing transformative impacts for the client, researchers and patients.
